Oh yes, the immortal words of Joe Rogan never sang so true! With the return of Fear Factor to network television, I thought it would be very opportune to play the game in Thailand. With the assistance of my camerawoman, Michelle, and some photos taken by the Jungle Bungy Jump Team, I challenged myself to check off another item on my bucket list.
Welcome to Jungle Bungy Jump. This place is located in Kathu and has been in operation since 1992. It is owned and operated by a New Zealander and it boasts a 99.9% success rate, !?!?! But why not 100%, you may ask... Some odd years ago someone actually was injured very badly and sued Jungle Bungy Jump and they had to take off the 100% benchmark from their flyer. He was in the hospital for a month and had injuries similar to someone bring in a high speed card accident. So why not... let's give it a try!?!
Yikes!
You had the choice of touching the water and I decided to go for it. It was very refreshing but in the process I lost one of my contacts.
Gnarly recoil action, wahoo!!
"A little help?"
I'm not dead! Sorry for not warning you first Mom!
Four!
Tiger, Tiger Mich' ya'll
Picture Time
Phuket was an excellent place for Michelle and I to work on our tans. We basically woke up, traveled to the beach, ate, trekked back home, slept, and Repeated! We treated ourselves to some relaxing Thai massages on one of the final days there. We truly enjoyed our stay in Phuket and encourage anyone who truly loves the beach to visit here. Perfect place for some R + R. Our next destination will bring us north to Chiang Mai where we plan to reunite with Michelle's parents for the holidays!
P.S. If you have any suggestions, for possible FEAR FACTOR blog posts please do not hesitate to comment! Michelle and I miss and love you all! PEACE
